System Requirements

FlexExt Store is engineered as a modern, lightweight Joomla extension following modern PHP standards:

• Joomla CMS: Joomla 4.4+, Joomla 5.0+, or Joomla 6.0+
• PHP Version: PHP 8.1, 8.2, or 8.3
• PHP Extensions: libsodium (standard in PHP 7.2+ for Ed25519 cryptography), cURL, OpenSSL, JSON, mbstring
• Database: MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+ with InnoDB engine and utf8mb4 charset

1-Click Package Installation

The entire store suite is distributed as a single master package containing the core component and all system plugins:

1. Download pkg_flexext_store.zip from your account downloads on flexext.dev.
2. Log into your Joomla Administrator panel (/administrator/).
3. Navigate to System → Install → Extensions.
4. Drag and drop the pkg_flexext_store.zip package or select it from your file manager.
5. Joomla will automatically unpack and activate the component, database tables, and plugin suite.

License Activation

Every edition (including the free Basic Edition) uses a cryptographically signed license key formatted as FLX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX:

1. Log into your customer dashboard at flexext.dev/account/license.
2. Copy your commercial license key assigned to your order.
3. In your Joomla admin, click Components → FlexExt Store → Store Settings.
4. Paste your key into the License Key field and click Save Settings.
5. Your store immediately communicates with our licensing engine, locks your domain, and unlocks all features assigned to your edition.

Offline Grace Period & Resilience

To guarantee that your live shop never stops processing orders due to transient network hiccups, our verification engine operates with offline resilience:

Verification tokens are cryptographically signed with Ed25519 detached signatures and cached locally in your database for 24 hours. If your server cannot connect to our license server, your shop enters a 7-day offline grace mode. Your customer checkout and administrative panel remain 100% functional.
